Ergonizer and Plenea: What matters when switching?

Ergonizer is software for analysing exercise tests. Plenea connects performance diagnostics with other athlete support workflows. Compare both on the test method you need and on your entire workflow.

Check your starting point

According to the manufacturer, Ergonizer can explicitly also be run as a client–server solution on a local network. Describing it across the board as a pure single-workstation solution would therefore be wrong.

Measure Plenea against your workflow

Plenea offers diagnostics, training planning and an athlete portal. Which further work areas are added depends on modules and plan. Before you decide, ask to be shown the functions you need.

The AI can prepare drafts. Not every AI function waits for approval by a person first. The pages on AI and data protection describe which ones these are.

Test the import before switching

Test with a typical, anonymised export. In the new system, check stage values, units, protocols and whether everything is assigned correctly. The existence of an import function does not mean that every export can be taken over completely.

Compare costs and operation

Compare for the same requirements: licence or base price, usage, setup, data migration and support. Plenea’s current terms are on the pricing page. For the other provider, their current information applies.
