One workflow. Explained step by step.

Using a fictitious athlete, we show how measurements become a reviewed report and how support continues in the portal. All views come from Plenea.

Measure.

Your athlete runs the step test, and you enter heart rate, lactate, Borg and glucose stage by stage. Right at the treadmill or later via import.

Analyse.

Plenea fits the curve through the measurement points and calculates the thresholds. You choose the model that suits your athlete and move markers directly on the curve if you see it differently.

Set the zones.

The thresholds become training zones with pace, lactate and heart rate. You adjust the heart rate limits directly in the table so she trains in the right zone.

Release.

Before your athlete sees anything, you review the analysis and report text and release both. Until then, her portal only shows “Being analysed”.

Plenea, confirmation: the analysis is released, the report text reviewed

In the portal.

After release, she has her thresholds on her phone, with pace per kilometre and heart rate, right next to her training plan and messages.

Get better.

For the retest, you place the previous test in the same chart. Plenea shows you how far each threshold has shifted. So you can see whether the training is working.

Plenea, retest with the previous test from 13 August 2026 in the same chart and the change per threshold: right shift, IANS plus 0.6 km/h

The real product interface

See measurements, analysis, training zones, release, the portal and a comparison with a previous test. These views are not redrawn product mockups.

Professional decisions stay with you

Review the analysis and any AI report draft before release. A software workflow does not replace professional assessment.

An example with clear provenance

This case uses synthetic data. It does not establish a customer practice’s experience, time savings, return on investment or medical effectiveness.
