Every run starts with a plan.

From the lactate test you derive your runners’ training zones and use them to plan the next few weeks. Feedback and the next test show you whether the training is working. You adapt training zones and load to the chosen model and to the individual person. Training planning, the record with questionnaires and communication are in beta; we agree the available scope together before use.

Which model the zones are based on

Plenea helps you evaluate step tests and plan training. Record which threshold and zone model you use. Fixed offsets in seconds from threshold pace do not fit all runners equally.

Plan every season individually

Build-up, race preparation and recovery depend on how someone has trained so far, how much volume is possible and what the goal is. There is no 16-week schedule that fits everyone. Nor is there a guaranteed race time or a long-run distance that is always right.

Terrain counts too

Pace on a flat course cannot be compared directly with speed on climbs or technical trails. So also look at surface, elevation profile, perceived exertion and heart rate. We do not promise automatic correction for terrain or altitude here.
