A clearer overview of every training week.

For coaching in cycling, performance data, training plans and feedback sit together. So you can see how the week went and build the next one on it. The data connection runs via intervals.icu. Training planning, the record with questionnaires and communication are in beta; we agree the available scope together before use.

Watts and training zones

You can describe training targets in watts and in training zones for cycling. Check which threshold the zones refer to and when the test took place. FTP, lactate threshold and critical power are different concepts.

Putting load into context

Heart rate and power help you assess a session. In cycling, the efficiency factor relates normalised power to average heart rate. Metrics like these depend on conditions and data quality. They are not a medical diagnosis.

Connection with intervals.icu

Through the connection, Plenea can import activities and transfer approved structured workouts to intervals.icu. You need an account and the appropriate permissions for this. Whether a workout then reaches a device depends on whether the device supports it and how intervals.icu is set up.

ACWR as a prompt for review

The ACWR relates short-term to longer-term training load. It is an additional indicator that you review professionally. On its own, Plenea does not conclude from it that load must be reduced, nor how high a person’s individual injury risk is.
